Fine, let us consider the below two statements...
1. 140 characters limit
2. 140 crctrs lmt
Option 2 gives same information as opt1.. But,
Option 2 gives same information as opt1.. But,
in 20% less characters and
in 12 clicks (on T9 keypad) which is lesser than Option 1
with zero concern about spellings and
just a little idea of English phonetics would help you understand the message.
So you see, non-sense makes sense.
Since few are not very good at SMS language it really is stressful when someone sends a mail or an sms in this language and also they have to hurry along to Google to decipher the words....
